Illinois High School Basketball - Marshall topples Farragut
(January 31, 2008: Chicago, IL 60624) In Thursday's league outing, the Marshall Commandos (Chicago, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Farragut Admirals (Chicago, IL), by a count of 90-71.
The Commandos (21-3) will now prepare for their outing against Hales Franciscan (Chicago, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 19-6 record. In their last challenge, Hales Franciscan notched a victory over Seton Academy (South Holland, IL), 85-49, in a league challenge.
Next up, the Admirals play the Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 2. Farragut will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record.
