Illinois High School Basketball - Proviso East falls to Farragut
(January 21, 2008: Chicago, IL 60623) The Farragut Admirals basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Proviso East Pirates to 64 in the Admirals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Admirals now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clemente for a Chicago Public Red - West contest on Tuesday, January 22. Farragut will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 69-67 league win over Clark Prep (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-11.
The Pirates (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Proviso West ran past Morgan Park (Chicago, IL), 63-57, in a non-league contest.
