Illinois High School Basketball - Hales Franciscan topples Mt. Carmel
(January 4, 2008: Chicago, IL 60615) In Friday's non-league outing, the Hales Franciscan Spartans (Chicago, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Mt. Carmel Aces (Mt. Carmel, IL), by a margin of 86-72.
The Spartans (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders go into the Chicago Catholic - South outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Brother Rice gained a win over Seton Academy (South Holland, IL), 87-60, in a league outing.
