Illinois High School Basketball - Monsignor Pace falls to Hales Franciscan
(December 22, 2007: Chicago, IL 60615) The Hales Franciscan Spartans basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Monsignor Pace Spartans to 54 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Noble Street College Prep for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 26. Hales Franciscan will meet a Golden Tigers team coming off a 57-31 league loss to Kelvyn Park (Chicago, IL). The Golden Tigers record now stands at 0-7.
The Spartans (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cherokee (Canton, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Cherokee was defeated by McEachern (Powder Springs, GA), 40-37, in a non-league contest.
