Indiana High School Basketball - North Lawndale College Prep edges Wallace
(February 9, 2008: Gary, IN 46408) The North Lawndale College Prep Phoenix (Chicago, IL) basketball nipped the host Wallace Hornets (Gary, IN), 75-73 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Phoenix (20-4) will now prepare for their test against Senn (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Senn got by Manley (Chicago, IL), 62-60, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 12-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a Northwestern test on Friday, February 15. Wallace will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 81-55 non-league win over LaLumiere (LaPorte, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-12.
