Illinois High School Basketball - Simeon winner over Warren
(December 29, 2007: Chicago, IL 60620) The Simeon Wolverines (Chicago, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Warren Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL), 48-38 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Hyde Park (Chicago, IL). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Hyde Park topped Senn (Chicago, IL), 61-46, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Libertyville for a North Suburban - Lake test on Wednesday, January 9. Warren will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 46-45 league win over Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-5.
