Illinois High School Basketball - Maine South ripped by Evanston
(December 4, 2007: Evanston, IL 60201) The Evanston Wildkits basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Maine South Hawks to 48 in the Wildkits league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildkits now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbrook South for a Central Suburban - South contest on Friday, December 7. Evanston will confront a Titans team coming off a 57-53 league loss to Waukegan (Waukegan, IL). The Titans record now stands at 2-4.
The Hawks (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against New Trier (Winnetka, IL). The Trevians enter the Central Suburban - South contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, New Trier trounced Niles West (Skokie, IL), 75-45, in a league contest.
