Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbrook South falls to Evanston
(December 7, 2007: Glenview, IL 60026) The Evanston Wildkits basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Glenbrook South Titans to 62 in the Wildkits league triumph on Friday.
The Wildkits now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niles West for a Central Suburban - South contest on Friday, December 14. Evanston will confront a Wolves team coming off a 65-39 non-league loss to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 0-4.
The Titans (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeling (Wheeling, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Wheeling lost by Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL), 62-51, in a league contest.
