Illinois High School Basketball - DeKalb overwhelmed by Batavia
(December 4, 2007: Batavia, IL 60510) The Batavia Bulldogs basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the visiting DeKalb Barbs to 42 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Glenbard South for a Western Sun contest on Friday, December 7. Batavia will meet a Raiders team coming off a 43-29 non-league win over Lemont (Lemont, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 4-2.
The Barbs (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Vikings come into the Western Sun contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Geneva trounced Yorkville (Yorkville, IL), 64-37, in a league contest.
