Illinois High School Basketball - Guerin College Prep tipped by Loyola Academy
(December 21, 2007: River Grove, IL 60171) The Loyola Academy Ramblers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Guerin College Prep Gators to 50 in the Ramblers league triumph on Friday.
The Ramblers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Trier for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 22. Loyola Academy will confront a Trevians team coming off a 74-34 league win over Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Trevians record now stands at 6-1.
The Gators (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Payton College Prep was nudged by Young (Chicago, IL), 73-52, in a league contest.
