Illinois High School Basketball - North Lawndale College Prep crushes Driscoll Catholic
(November 24, 2007: Chicago, IL 60623) North Lawndale College Prep Phoenix (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Driscoll Catholic Highlanders (Addison, IL), 74-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Lawndale College Prep upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Phoenix host Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) to play the Redwings in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 8. The Redwings go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Benet Academy won 53-50 in their recent league bout against Marist (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Highlanders play the Marmion Academy Cadets (Aurora, IL) in a Suburban Catholic bout, on Friday, December 7. Driscoll Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Cadets go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 66-53 league win over Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL).
