Illinois High School Basketball - Libertyville can't hold off Loyola Academy
(December 28, 2007: Wilmette, IL 60091) The Loyola Academy Ramblers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Libertyville Wildcats to 54 in the Ramblers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Ramblers now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Chicago for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 29. Loyola Academy will meet a Warhawks team coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Warhawks record now stands at 10-1.
The Wildcats (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Patriots enter the North Suburban - Lake contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Stevenson was nudged by North Chicago (North Chicago, IL), 55-51, in a non-league contest.
