Illinois High School Basketball - Mount Carmel winner over Loyola Academy
(February 15, 2008: Chicago, IL 60637) The Mount Carmel Caravan (Chicago, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL), 54-39 in Friday's non-league test.
The Caravan (14-6) will now prepare for their test against St. Rita (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 15-8 record. In their last test, St. Rita topped St. Francis de Sales (Chicago, IL), 69-38, in a non-league test.
The Ramblers now own a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they host Waukegan for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 20. Loyola Academy will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-52 non-league win over Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-11.
