Illinois High School Basketball - Farragut prevails Dunbar
(February 6, 2008: Chicago, IL 60623) Farragut Admirals (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dunbar Mightymen (Chicago, IL), 57-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Farragut upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Admirals travel to Hope (Chicago, IL) to play the Mighty Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 14. The Mighty Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Hope won 66-52 in their recent non-league bout against Lane (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Mightymen play the Lane Indians (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 13. Dunbar will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 9-15 record after their 75-54 non-league loss to Niles North (Skokie, IL).
