Illinois High School Basketball - Loyola Academy trounces St. Laurence
(February 1, 2008: Wilmette, IL 60091) The Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) basketball crushed the visiting St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL), 67-38 in Friday's league test.
The Ramblers (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 16-9 record. In their last test, Brother Rice walloped Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL), 57-48, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 4-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lindblom for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 5. St. Laurence will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 84-49 league win over Hancock (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 16-9.
