Illinois High School Basketball - Washington falls to Simeon
(January 3, 2008: Chicago, IL 60620) The Simeon Wolverines basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Washington Minutemen to 51 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wolverines now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshall for a non-league contest on Friday, January 4. Simeon will meet a Commandos team coming off a 64-54 non-league win over Curie (Chicago, IL). The Commandos record now stands at 10-1.
The Minutemen (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Curie (Chicago, IL). The Condors enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Curie was defeated by Marshall (Chicago, IL), 64-54, in a non-league contest.
