Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbrook North thwarts Prospect
(December 15, 2007: Northbrook, IL 60062) The Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) basketball felled the visiting Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), 68-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Warriors go into the Central Suburban - North test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Deerfield defeated Lake View (Chicago, IL), 57-34, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host South Elgin for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 18. Prospect will clash with a Storm squad coming off a 36-28 non-league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Storm record now stands at 4-5.
