(December 27, 2007: Flossmoor, IL 60422) Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Von Steuben Panthers (Chicago, IL), 68-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Homewood-Flossmoor upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Marshall (Chicago, IL) to play the Commandos in a non-league bout on Friday, December 28. The Commandos go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Marshall won 67-56 in their recent non-league bout against Proviso West (Hillside, IL)
Next up, the Panthers play the Brooks College Prep Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 2. Von Steuben will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 49-48 league loss to Harlan (Chicago, IL).
