Illinois High School Basketball - Lockport holds off Providence Catholic
(February 26, 2008: Lockport, IL 60441) Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL), 56-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lockport upgrades its record to 20-6 on the season. The Porters travel to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 29. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 18-10. Stagg won 60-37 in their recent non-league bout against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL)
