Illinois High School Basketball - Loyola Academy holds off Mundelein
(November 24, 2007: Wilmette, IL 60091) Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL), 81-79 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Loyola Academy upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Ramblers travel to Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to play the Corsairs in a non-league bout on Monday, November 26. The Corsairs come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Carmel lost 55-33 in their recent non-league bout against Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Round Lake Panthers (Round Lake, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 26. Mundelein will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL).
