Illinois High School Basketball - Loyola Academy prevails Buffalo Grove
(February 10, 2008: Wilmette, IL 60091) Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL), 64-56 in a league bout.
With the win, Loyola Academy upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Ramblers travel to Mount Carmel (Chicago, IL) to play the Caravan in a non-league bout on Friday, February 15. The Caravan go into the bout with a record of 13-6.
Next up, the Bison play the Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East bout, on Friday, February 15. Buffalo Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 14-9 record after their 59-50 league loss to Wheeling (Wheeling, IL).
