Illinois High School Basketball - De La Salle tipped by Fenwick
(December 14, 2007: Oak Park, IL 60302) The Fenwick Friars basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting De La Salle Meteors to 65 in the Friars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Friars now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Park-River Forest for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 20. Fenwick will confront a Huskies team coming off a 62-40 non-league win over Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 8-4.
The Meteors (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gordon Tech (Chicago, IL). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Gordon Tech was nipped by Seton Academy (South Holland, IL), 71-52, in a non-league game.
