Illinois High School Basketball - Farragut can't hold off Simeon
(January 5, 2008: Chicago, IL 60620) The Simeon Wolverines basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Farragut Admirals to 45 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolverines now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fenger for a Chicago Public Red - South contest on Thursday, January 10. Simeon will meet a Titans team coming off a 54-47 league win over Carver (Chicago, IL). The Titans record now stands at 6-7.
The Admirals (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Crane (Chicago, IL). The Cougars enter the Chicago Public Red - West contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Crane was nudged by Bogan (Chicago, IL), 66-64, in a non-league contest.
