Illinois High School Basketball - Farragut can't hold off Marshall
(February 24, 2008: Chicago, IL 60624) The Marshall Commandos basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Farragut Admirals to 51 in the Commandos league victory on Sunday.
The Commandos now sport a 25-4 record. They play next when they travel to Collins for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 26. Marshall will meet a Cobras team coming off a 73-70 non-league win over Clark Prep (Chicago, IL). The Cobras record now stands at 8-15.
The Admirals (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Proviso East (Maywood, IL). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 13-15 record. In their last bout, Proviso East nipped Schurz (Chicago, IL), 76-71, in a non-league bout.
