Illinois High School Basketball - Maine West can't hold off North Lawndale College Prep
(November 21, 2007: Chicago, IL 60623) The North Lawndale College Prep Phoenix basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Maine West Warriors to 48 in the Phoenix non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Phoenix now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Timothy Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, November 23. North Lawndale College Prep will meet a Trojans team coming off a 58-56 non-league win over Driscoll Catholic (Addison, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.
The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Lisle was nudged by Montini (Lombard, IL), 72-49, in a non-league contest.
