Illinois High School Basketball - Lockport topples Bolingbrook
(February 5, 2008: Lockport, IL 60441) In Tuesday's league outing, the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Bolingbrook Raiders (Bolingbrook, IL), by a margin of 52-43.
The Porters (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against Rich Central (Olympia Fields, IL). The Olympians go into the non-league outing with a 8-13 record. In their last outing, Rich Central was topped by Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL), 44-36, in a league outing.
The Raiders now own a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Joliet for a SouthWest Suburban outing on Friday, February 8. Bolingbrook will encounter a Steelmen squad coming off a 70-65 league win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 13-9.
