Nathan Joyce to Provide Washington Coverage

CAMERON PARK, Calif. --- MaxPreps' coverage of high school sports in Washington received a boost with the addition of Nathan Joyce, an award-winning writer and reporter for the Kitsap Sun.

Joyce, a graduate of Eastern Washington University, has spent the last four years covering high school sports for the Sun.

"Nathan is one of the best young writers on the high school beat in the Puget Sound," MaxPreps editor Jason Hickman said. "We are excited about him joining our team of correspondents and look forward to the coverage he will provide to our readers."

Joyce earned recognition from the Associated Press Sports Editors and the Society of Professional Journalists for his coverage of Bremerton, Wash., basketball star Marvin Williams' recruitment to the University of North Carolina, and eventually his transition to the NBA's Atlanta Hawks.
