Iovino Expanding Role With MaxPreps

CAMERON PARK, Calif. --- Vin Iovino has been named MaxPreps' Northeast Regional Manager, expanding his role with the company after serving as the Connecticut Territory Manager.

"Vin fits the perfect mold of a regional manager," MaxPreps Vice President of Operations Chad Downey said. "He has been a player, coach, and athletic director. He truly understands high school sports from all perspectives."

A longtime coach and athletic administrator in Connecticut, Iovino's new duties will include managing 13 states in the Northeast, totaling over 3,500 schools. In addition to hiring, training, and managing field representatives in the region, Iovino will work with governing bodies, coaches associations, and media outlets in an effort to spur coach participation.

Iovino is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where he earned three varsity letters as a member of the football team. After retiring from the Army National Guard as a Captain, he turned to coaching, enjoying a successful career at both the high school and college level.

During his 24-year run as athletic director at New Canaan High School, 64 teams captured Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference titles. Iovino is a member of the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference Hall of Fame.
