MaxPreps USA Football Tour 2006 Opens in Texas

CAMERON PARK, Calif. --- America's source for high school sports, MaxPreps.com, will open its "USA Football Tour 2006" this weekend at the Texas Football Classic in San Antonio.

The tour is designed to highlight high school football - a phenomenon that draws millions of players, parents, and fans to stadiums across the country every fall - and will make 15 stops beginning in the Lone Star State this weekend and ending Dec. 16 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., for the first CIF Championship Bowl Games.

Each game will be covered in detail at MaxPreps.com. Video, photos, blogs, and stories will be displayed, and every site will showcase the teams, players, fans, and host cities. 

Video streams will include a day-by-day broadcast from the MaxPreps Road Team charting the trip. 

The MaxPreps USA Football Tour will also feature a "web reality show" featuring Christopher Stonebraker and Mike Wilkes as they navigate the country and leave home on the high school sports adventure of a lifetime.

The Max Express

MaxPreps will travel across the country in "The Max Express". The vehicle will be tattooed with MaxPreps branding and advertising. "The Max Express" will also include several video game consoles to be played while the vehicle is parked and displayed at each event.

Game Coverage

In an effort to bring the spirit of each site to a national audience, the Road Team will participate in pep rallies and halftime ceremonies, celebrating the unique traditions surrounding high school football observed by teams, fans, and communities across the country.
