Anna Claire Noblit scored her 3000th point on her last basket of the night. The final three-pointer also tied the Alabama all-time state record for career threes putting her at 455. She had a game high score of 32 points, including 7 three-point baskets.
Anna Claire Noblit, Sr, set a new AL all-time career three-pointers record with her first 3-point goal of the game against area rival Athens Bible. She finished with a total of 22 points which included 2 more 3-pointers, 4 field goals and 5 of 5 free throws. The previous record (455) was set in 1999 by Nikki Tubbs of Butler High School. Noblit's 458 three-pointers presently puts her third in the nation according to the National Federation of State High School Associations Record Book.
Anna Claire Noblit raced the length of the court to finish with a left-handed layup to clinch the OT championship of the 2014 Colbert County Tournament. "I knew I had to make the layup," Noblit said. "I was trying to get it off before the defense collapsed on me because I knew they were quick. Coach Deegan told me to take it to the rim, so I knew I had to score." The win marks the first time Covenant Christian (21-1) has ever won the Colbert County Tournament or beaten a Class 5A school. Noblit, who finished with a tournament total of 64 points, was named to the All-Tournament Team along with teammates Bailey Hill (30pts), Elizabeth Mitchell (14pts) and Rachel Farris (4pts).

Anna Claire Noblit, junior guard, broke the overall school record for the most three-point goals made during one game. She shot 9 of 12 threes as well as 5 of 9 field goals and 100% from the free throw line with 6. She had a game high total of 31 points to lead Covenant Christian Lady Eagles to a 50-39 Class 1A, Area 16 victory.
Junior guard, Anna Claire Noblit, broke the 2000th point mark while scoring a game-high 29 points to bring Covenant Christian Lady Eagles their first win of the season.
Anna Claire Noblit broke the school's girls basketball 3-point record with a total of 8 free throws made in the Division 1A Area 16 playoff game against Shoals Christian. She had a total of 36 points in the 58-32 victory. The CCS Lady Eagles advance to the championship game against RA Hubbard to be played on Saturday, February 11 @ 7:00 pm.
Anna Claire Noblit had a total of 85 points in three games this week. She had a season high of 42 points in the homecoming game against Tharptown.
Sophomore, Anna Claire Noblit, put up 43 points in two area games against Decatur Heritage and Shoals Christian. She also had a total of 9 assists, 9 steals and 9 rebounds.
Anna Claire Noblit scored 31 points in each of the two games played this week. She broke the all- time girls' basketball scoring record in the first Area 16 game played against Waterloo High school. Noblit, a sophomore, now holds the record at 1444 points.
