With efficient shooting and posting stats in virtually every statistical category, Bryce Mitchell played the most complete game for the Phantoms in a struggling first game of the year.
Bryce MItchell earns player of the game due to his assertive play and posting a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds in a very physical, grind it out game versus Renaissance Academy.
Bryce Mitchell is selected as Player of the Game with an excellent shooting performance (7/15 FGs) producing 19 points, along with 7 rebounds. Mitchell is also selected to the All-Tournament Team for coming up with the most productive performance (47% FG and 50% from 3pt) in the biggest game of the year, as the Phantoms are Runner-Up in the Huntington Park Tournament Gold Division, the top division in the tournament.
Bryce Mitchell earns Player of the Game due to his outstanding opening quarter offensive production on 5-5 shooting from 3 point line to give the Phantoms a 9 point lead at the end of the 1st Quarter, along with his ability to contain the 3 point shooting of his defensive assignment, which helped keep the game in striking distance.
