Chloe played a great offensive and defensive match tonight. She led the team with 14 kills (42.4% kill) and was second behind the libero for total digs with a total of 14. She had 6 kills and several key defensive plays at a critical point in the second set win. She also had 10 assist and did an outstanding job setting both in system and out.
Leading the team in kills and passing while tying for the most digs and assist Chloe was the teams stat leader. She was the biggest cheerleader for her teammates successes, biggest supporter when they made mistakes and she brushed of her own mistakes while continuing to battle. She handled adversity well and set a good example of both sportsmanship and moving forward, not dwelling on the past, for her team.
Chloe led the team in kills, digs and passing in the match against Newton. She stayed aggressive after being blocked and found ways to adjust. She was a defensive leader on the floor and didn't back down from an aggressive and strong attacking team.
Chloe had a great match against Martinsville leading the team with 18 kills on 40 attempts (45%) and only 4 errors (0.350). She lead the team in passing, had 9 digs, 12 assist, and one block. Chloe has responded well to the pressure placed on her as a freshman outside hitter/setter. Congratulations Chloe on a great match, 18 kills ties for second most for a Lawrenceville Varsity Player in a best of 3 tournament match.
Chloe had a solid all-around performance in 2 sets. Leading the team in Aces (6), Kills (10), Digs (3), Passing (2.17) and also contributed 6 assist. She has fun while playing, is supportive of her team-mates and works to better every ball.
Chloe set a new school record for kills in a match (IL Best of 3) with 24, while hitting 0.528 efficiency and a kill percentage of 67%. She also totaled 3 aces, 9 digs, 6 assist, and 1 solo block during the match.
Chloe had a well rounded match leading the team in passing, offense and digs. She had 12 kills, 0.444 hitting efficiency, and a kill percentage of 67%. She had 2 aces, 10 digs, and 4 assist as well during the match.
Chloe had a great match tonight both offensively and defensively. She played hard the entire match and never gave up the fight. She had one (1) ace, Three (3) assist, one (1) block, twelve (12) digs and thirteen (13) kills in the two set match.
Chloe was a six rotation player and handled the duties of setting in the back-row and hitting left side in the front row. She was a statistical leader for Lawrenceville in most categories and also a top performer in the Little Illini Conference, which was recognized by her 1st Team All-Conference selection.
Highlights of Chloe's season include setting school records for "Kills in a Match" with 24 and "Season Hitting Efficiency" with 0.335. She also achieved the second highest "Kills in a Season" with 277 and "Single Match Hitting Efficiency" with 0.611.
In addition to her Little Illini Conference 1st Team selection she was recognized with the Lawrenceville Indians "Relentless Competitor" and "Most Valuable Player" awards. She has a competitive spirit, is supportive of her team, and displays great sportsmanship. She is a great ambassador of the sport and loves the game.
Chloe currently plays club volleyball for Metro Volleyball Club in Evansville Indiana.
Sophomore Chloe Britton has been selected as the player of the match versus Hutsonville. Chloe Led the team in Kills (14), Hitting Efficiency (0.417), Serve Receive (2.86) and Digs (15). She also had the second highest Server Rating (2.33) also recording 1 ace. She also recorded 4 assist during the match. Chloe was a good leader for her team and helped push the team through tough moments.
Sophomore Chloe Britton has been selected as Player of the Match versus Robinson. Chloe led the team in Kills (10), Hitting Efficiency (0.368), Server Rating (2.67), Passer Rating (2.09) and Digs (10). Chloe provided great serve receive and support to her team throughout the match.
Sophomore Chloe Britton has been selected as Player of the Match versus North Knox. Chloe fought hard throughout the match and took the lions share of the serve receive responsibility. She recorded 10 Kills, Efficiency of 0.571, 1 Ace and 5 Digs and 7 Assist during the match.
Sophomore Chloe Britton has been selected as Player of the Match versus Mattoon. Chloe attacked at a high level with 75% kill percentage and 15 kills while setting a new school for single match hitting efficiency of 0.650. She passed at a high level with a 2.30 passer rating and 70% of passes in the 3 range. She added 8 digs, 6 assist and 3 blocks during the match.
Sophomore Chloe Britton has been selected as Player of the Match versus Teutopolis. Chloe had 7 kills with a 78% kill percentage and hitting efficiency of 0.500. She took 60% (24) of the serve receive load from a tough serving team with a 1.71 passer rating and 42% in the 3-pass range to lead the team.
Sophomore Chloe Britton has been selected as Player of the Match versus Meridian. Chloe had a great all-around match leading the stats in all categories except assist. She attacked at a high level with 16 kills, 57% kill percentage and a 0.464 hitting efficiency. From the service line she had a 2.93 server rating and had 4 aces for 27% ace percentage. In receive she took 14 passes with a passer rating of 2.71 and 79% in the 3-pass range. She also added 11 digs, 10 assist and 1 block.
Sophomore Chloe Britton has been selected as Player of the Match versus Casey-Westfield. Chloe had a great all around match leading the team with fourteen kills with a 0.667 efficiency. She also led the team with six digs, contributed six assists and passed efficiently with a 2.25 passer rating.
Chloe Britton has been selected as the Indians Player of the Year for the 2018 season. Chloe had a great sophomore campaign leading the team in most statistical categories and setting several new school records. This is the second year Chloe has been selected Player of the Year, beyond her statistical performance she assumed more of a leadership role with the team and served as one of the captains. Chloe is a versatile player capable of playing any position and accepts whatever role is ask of her. She is a supportive teammate and is one of the first to celebrate her peers accomplishments. Chloe displays great sportsmanship both on and off the court. She regularly befriends officials, players and coaches regardless of what team or area they are from.
