Emily Walton has been named player of the year. "With 46 goals and 26 assists, Walton set Lady Engineer single-season records in both categories, and also became the school's all-time leader in both. Emily didn't just lead her team in the stat book, but in the win column as well, leading her team to 18 wins, 2 draws and just 2 losses. Walton captained the Lady Engineers to their fourth consecutive 54th District Championship, as well as the program's first ever 14th Regional Championship. Emily was one of the primary catalysts of this Estill team, carrying them to the state tournament and helping them be among the state's top teams in scoring and scoring margin. Walton's season will go down as one of the greatest seasons in Estill County history."
