Jeremiah Jefferson has been named player of the year. "Jeremiah Jefferson did exactly what he was expected to do during his junior campaign, and that was have a break out season. Jeremiah now is known as a deadly shooter with cat like reflexes which makes him difficult to defend. Jefferson has proven to all that he is a serious threat from anywhere on the open floor and has become a true scorer with or without the ball. Jeremiah has proven to have developed the moves to complete his skill set coupled with intangible leadership and toughness which he displayed throughout the year, especially during Triple A Academy's playoff run. His success in the UIL Texas State Tournament receiving UIL's MVP honors was just the result of the serious hard work and dedication this student-athlete put forth for his team and school. Jeremiah averaged 20 points per game, shot 86% from free throw line, 4 rebounds pg, 2 steals pg, and dished out 3 assists pg."
