Kezie hit the game winning 3 point shot at the buzzer to defeat El Dorado 62-61. He scored 10 points in the game and hauled in 5 rebounds. Jarrett Brodbeck had a team high 22 points and Garrett Geiger had a career high 5 blocked shots.
Kezie scored a career high 15 points including 2 3's in the road victory over El Modena. He also led the team in steals with 3. Jarrett Brodbeck led the team in scoring with 16 points despite being double and tripled teamed. He also hauled in 6 rebounds. Tyler Thomas had a huge 3rd quarter and finished with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Preston Sims had an impressive dunk with an and one and finished with 9 points and 6 rebounds. Sammy Jones led the team in assists with 6.
Kezie scored a career high 23 points to lead the Aztecs to victory over the 9th ranked Canyon Comanches and take 2nd in the tough Crestview League. He was a stellar 11 for 11 from the free throw line and also hauled in 6 rebounds. Jarrett Brodbeck added 22 points as well as 8 rebounds. He held the top scorer from Canyon to only 1 point for the game! Jarrett hit a 3 which put him at 68 for the season-he is now the all-time leading 3 point scorer in a single season for the the Aztecs with 68!!! He also has scored the most points in a single season and is only 4 points behind the number 2 all-time scorer in school history. Tyler Thomas had a another double-double despite fouling out as he scored 14 points and hauled in 10 rebounds! Great character win Aztecs....now on to CIF!
Kezie scored a game high 20 points to lead the Aztecs to victory over Pioneer in the 2nd round of the the CIF Division 3A play-offs. Tyler Thomas added 17 points and a game high 14 rebounds. Jarrett Brodbeck also scored 13 points and hauled in 8 rebounds. Next up is the quarter finals at Servite....Go Aztecs!!!
Kezie hit the game tying 3 point shot with 1.8 seconds left in the game and was fouled. He made the ensuing freethrow to give the Aztecs a great come from behind victory over Servite in the quarter finals 62-61. He tied his career high with 23 points and also hauled in 5 rebounds as well as guard Servite's best player, holding him to half his scoring average. Tyler Thomas added 17 points and 14 rebounds and got the rebound and made the pass to Kezie as time was running out. Jarrett Brodbeck added 13 points and hit 3 big 3's in the second half.Esperanza now advances for the first time to the CIF semifinals on the road at Beverly Hills High School this Friday.
Kezie began the season with a double/double as he was the leading scorer in the game with 19 points and was tied for leading rebounder with 10. He made 3 3's and also had a game high 3 blocks and chipped in with 2 assists.

Kezie scored a game high 27 points in the road victory over 7th ranked Foothill 69-62. This is the 3rd consecutive road victory in the last ten days versus a top ten oppenent (the previous 2 were ranked #5). Kezie also had a team high 7 rebounds.
Kezie had game highs of 20 points as well as 12 rebounds in the 6-44 win over cross town rival Canyon. He also chipped in with 3 blocks, 3 assists and 1 steal.
Kezie had team highs of 17 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 steals.
Kezie had a game high 23 points in leading the Aztecs to the first round victory in the CIF Division 3AA Play-Offs.

Kezie really stepped up this year filling the huge loss of Jarrett Brodbeck, who averaged 22 ppg and was 1st Team All County. Kezie set the school record for the highest scoring average for a season at 23.1ppg. He also led us in rebounding (7.5rpg), steals and blocked shots. He's worked extremely hard to make himself the player he is today and I have no doubt, that with his determination and work ethic, he will continue to improve.
Kezie was the player of the game. He scored 32 points and had 10 rebounds for his first double double of the season.
Kezie scored a career high 41 points vs Zion Williamson and Spartanburg Day and also had 6 rebounds. Honorable mention goes to Brendan Harrick with a career high of 28 points (6 3's) and Jared Obermeier for his tremendous effort and defense in guarding Zion who
came intothe game averaging 48 ppg and the Aztecs held him to 22. Also Spartanburg Day was averaging 84 points per game and the Aztecs held them to a season low of 59 points.
Kezie had a game high of 36 points and a career high 17 rebounds along with 4 assists in leading the Aztecs to 3-0 in pool play of The Tournament Champions and into the Championship Game. He also set a school record for most free throws attempted with 29. Brendan Harrick added 19 points and Travis Kettering chipped in with 12.
Kezie scored a game high 24 points and was named as the Co-MVP of the tournament at the Washington TOC. Kezie broke the old record of most points scored for the tournament (125) by scoring 133 over the 4 games. This tournament has hosted over 32 NBA players over the years including Anthony Davis and Andrew Wiggins. Congratulations to Brendan Harrick for also being named to the All Tournament Team. Also congratulations to the Aztecs for going 3-1 and playing in the championship game of a very prestigious tournament.

Kezie was named the MVP of the tournament, Also congrats go out to Jared Obermeier as he was named as a member of the All Tournament Team by scoring 12 points and hauling in 5 rebounds along with his stellar defense.
Kezie had a game hidg od 23 points and added 11 rebounds in addition to playing great defense holding Crean Lutheran's Bagatourian to just 2 points! Travis Kettering scored a season high of 16 points including 2 3's. Brendan Harrick chipped in with 6 points and a game high 14 rebounds. Tiny Poling also hauled in 11 rebounds. A great team defensive effort and individually by Brandon Alpern and Jared Obermeier.

Kezie tied his career high and school record of 45 points in the win over Foothill. He also became the all time scoring leader in school history with 1593 points. Kezie surpassed Mark Lovein's 4 year total of 1574. He added 10 rebounds for the double double. Brendan Harrick chipped in with 11 points and Tiny Poling had 11 rebounds.

Kezie had a double double with game highs with 39 points and 19 rebounds as the Aztecs won the Crest View League outright going a perfect 6-0. They finished the season with a school tying 25 wins. Brendan Harrick added 13 points and was 3 for 6 from the 3 point line.
