Kirsten began her Freshman Season with two goals in the home opening win for the Franklin Purple Devils. Kirsten had the game winning goal 8:57 into the first half when she converted a Mariah McNeilly pass in the GMU penalty box. Kirsten scored her second goal just 1:27 into the second half after controlling a loose ball created from Mariah McNeilly's tackle in GMU end of the field. Kirsten was a serious threat to get her third for the remainder of the game.
Kirsten scored two goals in the non-league game against the Class C opponent Sidney. Kirsten scored her first 18:08 into the game off of a cross from Lacey Cox. Kirsten scored her second off a double assist from Mariah McNeilly and Jessie Davis. Kirsten has six goals so far this season.
Kirsten scored Franklin's only goal from a Julie Archibald cross.
Kirsten had a goal and an assist in the season's opening win. She led the team with shots (6). Kirsten also played center back the final ten minutes to help preserve the shut out.
Kirsten bossed the midfield for large portions of this game. She won many challenges and created a lot of attack with her passing
