Mark was one of our team captains this year. He lead our team in scoring (20.4), Rebounding (4.5), free throw percentage (80%), steals (1.3), 3 pointers made ( 102 - 231) for an average of (4.3) a game while shooting 44% from behind the arc. He tied for the team lead in charges taken for the year (9). Mark is a great kid and player! He leads by example on and off the court. He has a great work ethic. He works extremely hard to be the best basketball player he can be and the best student in the classroom he can be. He is a great student! Mark is very deserving of this award, Coach Bates.
Mark was a team captain and our team leader. He led us in scoring (19.8) for the 2nd year in a row. Mark holds 2 school records: 3 point shots made in a season(102) and 3 point shots made for a career (261). He led us to a Madison County Tournament title and a Hoosier Heritage Conference title (7 -0). Mark was selected on the all conference HHC team. He was selected to the top 60 senior showcase workout. He was picked to participate in the North/South Indiana All Star Classic. Mark is on the ballot for being an Indiana All Star. Mark is also a leader in the classroom. He has a 4.10 GPA. He is Academic All State. Mark is a great person and player on the basketball court, in the classroom, and in the community. He is the Pendleton Heights Arabians MVP!!!
