Robinson posted a double-double with 19 points and an impressive 19 rebounds in a first round tournament win, while adding 5 blocks and 2 assists.
Robinson led that Phantoms in the Del Rey League opener with 29 points and 6 rebounds on an efficient 12/16 shooting (75%), defeating a talented and highly ranked St. Bernard squad on the road.
In the biggest game of the year against the #1 ranked team in CIFSS Division 2AA, Robinson posted a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Phantoms in an intense and very physical game against Anaheim Canyon.
Robinson earns Player of the Game by posting a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds, along with adding 2 blocks, 1 assist and 1 steal. Shot an excellent 8-11 from the field.
Orlando Robinson had a very productive game against Bishop Montgomery (Ranked #3 ranked team in the Nation and the 1st Place team in our Del Rey League) with 17 points on 7-10 FGs (2-3 FTs & 1-1 from 3 point line), along with 9 rebounds , 2 steals and 4 assists. Robinson led the team in points, FG percentage, total rebounds, steals and tied for 1st in assists
In a tight playoff game that could have meant the end of his high school career, Orlando Robinson delivered a big time double-double with 23 points and 17 rebounds, including 10 offensive rebounds. He also added 2 assists and 2 steals on the night leading the Phantoms to a 2nd round playoff game.
Orlando Robinson Jr. earns Player of the Year honors. Robinson and Chris Mitchell tied with 6 Player of the Game awards each so Robinson gets the nod for Player of the Year having had the better 2 game playoff performances as the season comes to a close for the Phantoms.
