Athlete Notes
Lemming Notes: He is one of the more productive QB prospects in the Atlantic coast region.
On Film–Billy shows outstanding mechanics, is exceptionally accurate, and shows plus arm strength. He is an expert at throwing the ball while on the run and can dominate as a pure drop-back passer. He is a QB who can thread the needle with his passes and run for significant yardage. He is dynamite in play action and scares the defense to death when rolling out and throwing the ball on the run. He is a difference maker at the high school level. For proof check out the Linganore game in which he completed 39 of 64 passes for 495 yds and 5 TDs. A prolific offensive performer with big-time skills.
Stats–He completed 295 of 448 passes for 3,995 yds and 56 TDs and was picked off just 10 times in '08. He also carried the ball 42 times for 197 yds and 6 TDs.
Grades–His GPA is 3.0.
Favorite Schools–His father, Chris Cosh, is Kansas State's defensive coordinator and played linebacker at Virginia Tech. His favorite schools are KS STATE, VA TECH, KY, EAST CAROLINA, SYRACUSE, OK STATE, and MI STATE.

Player of the Week
-
Week of 10/11/2009

In a game where Senior Quarterback Billy Cosh threw seven touchdowns in just over a quarter of work, smashing the state record for career touchdown passes he's not only the team player of the week, but state-wide player of the week.
Cosh finished his short evening completing 16 of 19 passes for 267 yards. Three of his seven TD tosses went to fellow senior RJ Harris (who also returned a punt on the evening).
Cosh finished the night with 85 career TDs, obliterating the previous mark of 80 TDs. Cosh has needed only 19 games as a varsity starter to set the new standard.

Week of 9/6/2009

The Kansas State commit tossed 5 TDs completing 19 of 29 attempts for 308 yards en route to a 37-9 victory over last year's regional finalist Severna Park.
Cosh set the QB standard for a single season last season as a junior picked up where he left off and will threaten Maryland's career records at the QB position.
