About Signing Day:

The building blocks to tournament trips that extend deep into March are often assembled in November and April, when the NCAA accepts National Letters of Intent from high school seniors preparing to launch the next phase of their basketball careers and pursue the dream of winning a collegiate national title.

November marks the start of basketball's early signing period, for those players who have already decided with certainty where they will attend college. April 15 starts the regular signing period. With some top prospects already off the board and the college season finished, coaches across the country scramble to shore up signatures from this year's remaining crop of high school seniors whose impact will soon be felt in the college ranks.

This is the MaxPreps 2009 Basketball National Signing Day page. Please explore our interactive map to see which state has the most division one recruits, break down each college individually to see what hot prospect has signed with each school, or see what high school has the most talent. The MaxPreps 2009 Basketball National Signing Day is the spot for all your basketball recruiting news.
