amassed 43 points, 18 rebounds, seven steals and five blocks as Scott Central (Forest, Miss.)
defeated Forest (Miss.) to win the Scott County Tournament basketball championship, 62-55.
Though just a sophomore, the 6-foot forward is only one-tenth of a percentage point short of leading the nation with a lofty 36.2 scoring average. She twice has scored 51 points this season. A starter since eighth grade, she already has scored more than 2,000 points.
Last year Vivians paced the Rebels to a 32-3 record and the Class 2A state championship.
"She plays everywhere on the floor for us and has in-the-gym (shooting) range," Coach Chad Harrison told MaxPreps. "She's very aggressive, strong and athletic. She's fast as lightning. She's a forward with skills to handle the ball like a point guard."
The talented sophomore, who has a 3.3 GPA, already has solid scholarship offers from Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Southern Mississippi, while also receiving strong looks from Georgia, Florida and South Carolina.
Harrison predicts, "She's got a chance to be one of the Top 10 or 12 players ever in Mississippi."
