Bob Cimmino Jr. of Mount Vernon (N.Y.) and Gene Pingatore of St. Joseph (Westchester, Ill.) have been named the boys head coaches for the 2011 McDonald's All-American Game.

The event will be held March 30 at the United Center in Chicago, Ill. Dorothy Gaters of Marshall (Chicago) and Mary Klinger of Rutgers Prep (Somerset, N.J.) were tabbed as the girls head coaches.

"The four coaches we selected to lead the 2011 McDonald's All American Games combine for more than 2,500 wins and 120 years of head-coaching experience," McDonald's Director of Marketing Douglas Freeland said. "We're extremely proud that some of the greatest coaching legends in high school basketball history will be calling the shots at our Games in Chicago."

Cimmino Jr., who will coach the East, has led Mount Vernon to nearly 350 years in his 17 years at the Westchester County school. His Knights have won four public school state championships and three Federation state championships to go along with 11 sectional titles.

Pingatore will patrol the West sideline and has 862 victories in 41 seasons at St. Joseph. His 1999 Chargers won a state title and Isiah Thomas was a product of the program in the late 1970s.
