Aaron Gordon and defending California Division II state champions
Archbishop Mitty (San Jose) headline the field for December's Les Schwab Invitational presented by Express Employment Professionals.
The 16-team tournament – annually one of the nation's best – will be held Dec. 26-29 at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, Ore.

Gordon, a 6-foot-8 forward ranked No. 4 in the MaxPreps Class of 2013 Top 100, averaged 22.9 points and 12.8 rebounds per game as a junior in leading Archbishop Mitty to a 31-3 record and No. 23 national ranking. Gordon posted 33 points and 20 rebounds in the Monarchs' state championship victory.
Mitty will be joined by defending Pennsylvania Class AAA state champion
Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia), Washington Catholic Athletic League powerhouse
Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) and
Columbia River (Vancouver, Wash.) as the out-of-state teams in the Les Schwab Invitational.
The in-state contenders include four-time defending Class 6A champ
Jesuit (Portland) and
Lake Oswego, led by Top 100 senior wing and St. Mary's verbal commitment
Calvin Hermanson.
