Arguably Ohio's top showcase event,
Flyin' to the Hoop will have a new title sponsor for 2011.
The annual three-day showcase in Dayton is now the Good Samaritan Hospital Flyin' to the Hoop, and returns to Trent Arena Jan. 15-17, 2011.
Out-of-state teams already committed for the 2011 event include Christian Faith Center Academy (Creedmoor, N.C.), Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, Ind.), Huntington Prep (Huntington, W. Va.), Lee (Huntsville, Ala.), Our Savior New American (Centereach, N.Y.), Simeon (Chicago, Ill.) and Whitney Young (Chicago, Ill.).
Ohio teams include Aiken (Cincinnati), Bowling Green, Centerville, Chillicothe, Cleveland Heights, Dublin Coffman (Dublin), Dunbar (Dayton), Garfield Heights, Archbishop Alter (Kettering), Fairmont (Kettering), Lakota East (Liberty Township), Thurgood Marshall (Dayton), Meadowdale (Dayton), Northmont (Clayton), Roger Bacon (Cincinnati), Springfield (Springfield), St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron), Taft (Cincinnati), Trotwood-Madison (Trotwood), Troy (Troy), Butler (Vandalia), Wayne (Huber Heights), Westerville South (Westerville) and Withrow (Cincinnati).
