The West rallied for six runs over the sixth and seventh innings to come from behind and defeat the East 7-6 at the Perfect Game All-American Classic at PETCO Park Sunday in San Diego.
The East held the early 6-1 lead before the West rallied for two runs in the sixth inning and four more in the seventh.Ryan Boldt
earned game MVP honors for the West after going 2-for-3 with a triple.

also proved to be a valuable member of the West team, driving in two runs with a triple. Jeremy Martinez
also had two hits and an RBI while Dominic Smith
drove in two runs and Sheldon Neuse

earned the win, going one inning and allowing no runs on one hit. Ian Clarkin led the team in strikeouts with three during his one inning of work. Derik Beauprez
and Kacy Clemens
each struck out two.
For the East, Clint Frazier
and Corder Sandberg
each drove in two runs with Frazier going 2-for-2 with a run scored. Travis Demeritte
had the only other RBI with a double. Jan Hernandez of Carlos Beltran Academy (San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico), added a double while Brian Navarreto of Arlington Country Day (Jacksonville, Fla.) belted a triple for the East's best hits.
The nine East pitchers combined for 15 strikeouts. Brett Morales
had three while Robert Tyler
, Kevin Davis
, Aj Puk
and Robert Kaminsky
all had two each.
The West leads the overall series 5-4-1.
