The girls from the Lancaster (Wis.) volleyball team got creative in marketing their "Taking the Spike Out of Epilepsy Night" by submitting to our Video Center.

More than 150,000 people are diagnosed with some form of epilepsy each year and more than 2 million people have a current diagnosis.

The Lancaster (Wis.) volleyball team wants to bring awareness to the condition and on Oct. 11 will host "Taking the Spike Out of Epilepsy Night" in a home match against Prairie du Chien (Wis.). They ask that fans and players wear purple and will have cosmetologists on site to provide purple hair extensions and paint fingernails purple.

The team and coach Tiffany Michalkiewicz loaded the promotional video in the MaxPreps Video Center, and we wanted to share a creative and worthwhile idea.
