Victoria Vivians

Six-foot sophomore forward Victoria Vivians scored a career-high 55 points - and sat out the fourth quarter - as Scott Central (Forest, Miss.) routed Enterprise (Miss.) 80-19 on Friday night.

Vivians, who also had 14 rebounds and five steals, raised her scoring average to 37.0 points and she also is averaging 14.4 rebounds.

Coach Chad Harrison told MaxPreps, "Victoria had a huge night. She put on a shooting clinic. She faced a box-and-one as well as triangle-and-two. She was 22 of 32 from the field. She hit eight threes, four of them were 24 feet or better. When she is like that she is practically unstoppable.

"I tell her constantly that the only person that can stop her is herself. We challenge her daily to be relentless and focused."

* High-scoring eighth grader Sydney Zambrotta will not be credited for her 48-point effort on January 20th, according to Newsday. The long Island newspaper reported that the Upper Room Christian (Dix Hills, N.Y.) game against Waldorf (Garden City, N.Y.) will be replayed at a later date because no shot clock was used.
