Covering High School Sports in America
A boys basketball game between two Pennsylvania schools should draw plenty of attention tonight, however no fans in attendance.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported this morning that the game between Beaver Falls, one of the top Class AA teams in the state, and host New Brighton will play in front of only officials and scorekeepers due to a fight between students from both schools on Monday.

A teen-ager, in fact, was stabbed during the fight which took place in Beaver Falls, but not on school grounds.

"After the incident, we felt this was in the best interest of both schools involved," Beaver Falls Athletic Director Jim Carbone told the newspaper.
