UCLA flips Marsh

10:58 a.m. EST Numerous sources are reporting what has been rumored for a while, that Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, Calif.) defensive tackle Cassius Marsh will be staying close to home.

Marsh, who was once committed to Cal, decommitted from LSU and has now committed to UCLA.

By gaining a commitment from Marsh, the Bruins continued to add to an impressive recruiting class. Head coach Rick Neuheisel demonstrated for the second straight year that he saves his best work for last. Last year, he landed January commitments from nearly half a dozen recruits. Then on National Signing Day, he hauled in Randall Carroll, Xavier Su'a Filo and Damien Thigpen among others.

Neuheisel recently landed Loyola (Los Angeles, Calif.) athlete Anthony Barr, and could secure a commitment from St. Francis (La Canada, Calif.) defensive back Dietrich Riley before all is said and done.
