As a ninth-grader,
Baker County (Glen St. Mary, Fla.) defensive end
CeCe Jefferson earned
U.S. Air Force Freshman All-American honors after recording 10 sacks and 22 1/2 tackles for loss.
Since then the 6-foot-3, 260-pound Jefferson has become one of the hottest 2015 recruits in the state of Florida, with offers from Florida, Florida State, Clemson, Louisville, North Carolina, South Carolina and Arkansas.
According to Baker County coach Ryan Sulkowski, in-state rivals Florida and Florida State are currently recruiting Jefferson the hardest. Clemson, which rarely shies away from recruiting battles in the Sunshine State, is also gunning hard for Jefferson.
This month Jefferson intends to visit Florida State, Alabama and Auburn, and will make his second visit to Florida, Sulkowski said.
